Are you currently seeking an internship to gain insight into your prospective career?Look no further: The Center for Global Public Relations offers an accredited internship opportunity for students during the Spring, Fall & Summer semesters.
Interns work eight hours each week at the Center for credit hours. Available for students in the Charlotte area, objectives of the CGPR internship are to:
- Present a real-world environment with practical duties and issues that arise in the public relations practice
- Provide on-the-job application of classroom teachings and class work
- Identify a student's strengths & weaknesses
- Enhance and develop skills related to professional public relations practice
- Work with PR Professionals
- Gain knowledge to make decision as to whether public relations profession is a suitable career choice
Internship projects vary, based upon interests and current CGPR projects. Past internship projects include: social media, event planning, publication production, research and relationship development with organizations.
